Terry-Lynn Zietsman
Terry-Lynn Zietsman has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa and a Higher Education Diploma from Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
Terry has served on a number of Committees. She was honoured to be made President of the Convocation Executive of the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban – the first woman in the history of the University – in 2000 and 2001.
Terry was a Professional member of the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa. (PSASA) from 1998 to 2019. The organisation is affiliated to the National Speakers Association (NSA) an organisation for professional trainers, speakers and coaches, based in the United States. Terry originally joined NSA in 1998 and was the first female professional member in Africa.
Terry also believes in enhancing her own growth and development and in doing so can transfer her knowledge to others. In this regard she has attended a number of developmental programmes.
Terry believes in pursuing a balanced lifestyle and is active as well as practices meditation and yoga. Her pride and joy are her cats and over the years has fostered and homed over 300 abandoned and abused kittens. Her hobbies and interests include music, gardening, volunteering and she also loves zipping around on her Vespa – Angelia Bella!
Terry had also coached 2 speakers for TED Talks - Psychologist Penni Cox, "Be curious. Be connected" and Chaeli Mycroft, "Strength is not a Solo Mission".
